A happy audience could listen to great mix of modern Brazilian jazz when the Cléber Alves Quarteto introduced their new live CD with a performance at the Jazztone in Lörrach on January 27. Cléber Alves on saxophone, Stephan Kurmann on bass, Ricardo Fiuza on piano and Fernando Paiva on drums put together a diverse playlist which was comprised of compositions by Cléber Alves and other Brazilian composers. There was rhythm, there were harmonious melodies, there were surprises, there was energy, there was fun. What else can you ask for.
